Choosing the right transform tool
Rotate, flip, and mirror sound similar and do different things. Rotate turns the whole page or image by a fixed angle. Flip reverses it across an axis, so text reads backwards. Mirror produces the same reversal but is the wording most people use when they want a left-to-right reflection for print or transfer work.
Scanned pages usually need rotation. Iron-on transfers, vinyl cutting, and some print workflows need a mirror. If you are correcting a sideways scan, reach for rotate; if you need a reversed copy, reach for flip or mirror. Each tool writes a new file and leaves the original untouched.
