Choosing the right data tool
Two different jobs live in this group. The formatters, validators, and converters help you read and reshape structured data — pretty-print a minified API response, find the character that breaks a parse, move a table between CSV and JSON.
The corruptors do the opposite on purpose. They damage a clean dataset in controlled, repeatable ways — dropping rows, blanking values, changing types, renaming headers, breaking structure — so you can check that your importer, validator, or pipeline fails safely instead of silently accepting bad data. Pair them with the sample data sets when you need a realistic starting file.
